All we need is a reasonable photograph of Children, Grandparents, Mum & Dad or a much loved pet. We will produce a beautiful pencil portrait that we hope will become a family treasure. We also do Portraits of houses and gardens.

Gus Russell studied at The Berkshire College of Art during the early 60s, and since then has followed a career in advertising design as art director /illustrator/cartoonist. During a successful career he always kept up his first love of drawing and in particular portraits. 'A True Likeness' came about because of the amount of portraits he was commissioned to do for friends and relatives and has been steadily growing by reputation since October 2003.
